Upgrade the cooling performance of your air-cooled engine with the EMPI 00-9233-0 8-Pass Oil Cooler Kit. Designed for improved heat dissipation, this cooler features a copper tube, 8-pass layout with aluminum cooling fins. The tubes are mechanically expanded to ensure consistent contact with the fins, helping maintain stable oil temperatures during demanding driving conditions.

The kit includes a 1/2" barbed 8-pass oil cooler, engine case bypass adapter, remote oil filter bracket, high-temperature oil hose, and the fittings and hardware required for installation. This setup allows relocation of the oil filter and provides additional cooling capacity for engines used in performance, off-road, or high-heat environments.

Compatible with Volkswagen Type 1 Beetle and Super Beetle, Karmann Ghia through 1974, and Type 2 Bus through 1971. Also commonly used in BAJA, dune buggy, and sand rail applications where additional cooling is beneficial.
