EMPI 16-5103-0 is a Urethane Shift Coupler Kit compatible with Volkswagen late-style vehicles.

Much like the original one it replaces, this fits Type 1 (1965-on) and other applications that use this style of coupler. The key improvement on this unit is the two inserts for the cage, which are made from urethane, ensuring a tighter and more responsive shifter linkage. This is an essential upgrade for nearly any vehicle using this type of coupler.
