EMPI REPLACEMENT SEAL WITH COLLAR

EMPI 00-8695-0 is a replacement sand seal and collar assembly designed for use with EMPI bolt-in sand seal crank pulleys.

  • Application: Compatible with VW air-cooled engines using EMPI bolt-in or Gene Berg-style sand seal pulleys
  • Pulley Compatibility: Works with 1.770" diameter pulleys and 1.970" case openings
  • Installation: Slips into a non-cut engine case; often referred to as a “glue-in” collar (sealant like Gasgacinch recommended)
  • Seal Dimensions: 2.26" outer diameter, 1.725" inner diameter
  • Material: Aluminum collar with pre-installed rubber seal
  • Use Case: Helps keep dirt and debris out of the crankcase—especially useful in off-road or dusty environments
