EMPI 4340 CHROMOLY H-BEAM RODS

EMPI 00-8310-0 is a set of H-Beam connecting rods designed replacement for Volkswagen Type 1, 2, and 3 models. These rods are made from forged 4340 chromoly and are designed to provide high strength and weight savings.

  • Journal Size: 2.165 inches (55mm)
  • Material: Forged 4340 chromoly for durability and performance
  • Design: Race-proven H-Beam design with radiused rod caps to reduce clearancing requirements
  • Bolts: Comes with forged ARP 5/16" bolts capable of withstanding 220,000 psi tensile load
  • Torque: Torque the ARP bolts to 26 ft. lbs
  • Compatibility: Compatible with VW Bug, EMPI stroker cranks, and other compatible applications
